School Hockey Night

Tonight was the kids' school's hockey night!  We all had tickets in the same section at the Swamp Rabbits game and were surrounded by lots of friends!  Part of the deal was that the kids got to high five all the players as they came out onto the ice!  S thought it was awesome!!  C on the other hand could not behave himself beforehand so I did not let him participate - and he was MAD!  What was already a night that was going down hill, plummeted!!  Luckily, M met us there just before the game started so we had two cars.  After watching 1.5 periods of the game and talking to some friends, C and I headed home so that he could go to bed!  M and S stayed until the end and came home all smiles!  It was a good night for all but the little guy!!  And, the Swamp Rabbits beat the team they were playing even though that team was ranked #1 in the division and the Swamp Rabbits #5!

Still all smiles here!  He got a Swamp Rabbit painted on his
face!  And that sword helped him get into a lot of trouble about
10 minutes after this was taken!

I was glad I was able to come watch over the ledge because it was
a lot of fun!!
