Interesting Sunday

All started normal, but soon went crazy!!!

We were sitting in church, and maybe 10 minutes into the music, the fire alarms start going off, only we couldn't hear them because the music was so loud, but we could see the lights on the alarms flashing!  Everyone kinda looked around to see what we were suppose to do, the praise team kept going, so we sat and wondered for about 2 minutes before we were ushered out the door - and were not allowed to go down to the kids area and were told they were already out at the back side of the church!  Can I just tell you that I was sooo glad that this was my off week from the nursery!?!?  Just imagine trying to get 10 infants out of the building, most not wearing coats because they are carried into church in their carriers with blankets over them!  Whew!!!!!  About 6 fire trucks showed up and told us all to go home.  Sooo... we had to walk around the church, which in heels felt about like a mile hike, to try and find our kids!  Our kids weren't in coats this morning and either and were pretty chilly by the time we found them!  A lot of excitement for our morning!!

All outside and not quite sure what to do next!!  A few minutes later
we were told by the firemen to leave!

Since it was only 11am now, we went with two other families to Fuddruckers(but they were closed for some odd reason), Josie's Chuck Wagon(a new place close to the church which by this time was packed out and could not accomodate 13 people) and then finally ended up at Monterey's!

Things were going smoothly, and everyone was happily shoving chips down their throats and dripping salsa on their church clothes!  But, I tell ya, as soon as the bellies were full, two little crazy boys went to town!!  Monkeys!!!  M finally took them outside to get some energy out without disrupting the rest of the restaurant, and you would not believe how quiet and peaceful it was when they left!  HAHA!!  A while later he brings them back in and apparently they had been swinging a metal gate back and forth and it found Lincoln's face - and chipped his tooth!  Poor kid!  Thank goodness it was a baby tooth!!!

Taken by Lincoln's sister unbeknownst to us!!
