We celebrated for 24+ hours straight!
I'm so glad that we were able to do it with all the COVID stuff still going around! We rented a huge inflatable water slide/slip n' slide for 24 hours of pure fun! The neighbors came over when it was first delivered and helped us to break it in. Grandpa joined us for the afternoon and we were so glad to get to visit with him!! Then C's buddies showed up to play followed by Grandmamma, Granddaddy and Jackson. We had dinner, ice cream sundaes, presents and water slide playing! Then, the family left, and it was just the friends who stayed and played on the water slide until it was about dark out! We shut it down and then came in for Sonic the Hedgehog movie, Nintendo playing and very little sleep!;)
This morning, it was pretty cool for C to wake up on his actual birthday surrounded by his best buddies!
The boys went home around 10am and I took a nap while the kids vegged out in front of the TV. Then, the inflatable company was supposed to pick the water slide up around lunchtime, but were running late and didn't get a chance to get it until 7pm tonight. The kids played some more on it throughout the day and M got on it when he got home from work!
It was a wonderful, wet, exhausting two days but oh what a great time it was!!
