C ended up choosing baseball over soccer this fall after liking it well enough at the Y over the summer! Luckily, the way our program does the ages, he was able to squeak in and play a season of coach's pitch before he has to move up to kid pitch in the spring!
Tonight was his first game and he did great! He played 3rd base and did well and got a hit each time up at bat(although, he is having a hard time not flinging the bat after he hits!). His team reminded me of the "Bad News Bears" tonight, but I'll admit that they were much improved even by the end of the game. So that's some progress:) It was a late game tonight and add to that a rain delay and we were 100% exhausted by the time we finally rolled home!
