Carl Sandburg's Goats

We enjoy going to the Carl Sandburg House in the spring to see the new baby goats:)  We got lucky today and found some twins that were only 22 hours old!  SO stinkin' cute!  We couldn't hold them because they were too young, but just looking at the cuties was worth it!  There were a few more babies - two sets of twins that were slightly older and we about rubbed the hair off of them!  I love this little tradition we've started and they enjoyed getting an early dismissal!

This is one of the 22 hour old babies!

We've done the milking the fake cow thing before, but this was
our first go at milking a fake goat;)

Mine and S's required picture in the gate!

We took a walk around the lake to end our day, all was good until
at the very furthest point, C got a nosebleed and of course we didn't
have a single thing to clean him up!
