This morning we left super early in order to get to Lake Jocassee before they were full! Success!! We made it out on the lake with no problems. It was, however, pretty chilly but we spent the first part of the day fishing until it warmed up enough to brave getting into the water. Caught nothing! We then took out the new snorkeling gear, anchored close to a sandy "beach" and swam to shore. I think the kids could have explored the island all day. But, we swam back to the boat with promises of lunch and tube rides - they weren't too disappointed with that in mind! It was a fun day and probably the last of the year for us!
