8th Grade Graduation

Tonight was 8th Grade Graduation.  MRCA has been a great school for our family for the past two years and we are so thankful for the friends made, the Christian education received and the prayers poured over S during her time here!  The graduation ceremony was so sweet and meaningful!  After lots of hugging and pictures afterwards, we headed to Culvers to celebrate our graduate!

S Last Day of School

Today was S's last day of middle school!!!!  She was so excited and it very much ready for the next chapter of her youth as she heads into high school!  It was a short half day and the parents in car line(S went with some friends to get lunch and nails done so I wasn't there to pick her up) decorated their cars and had the music blaring as they picked up the newest freshman class:)

Greek Festival

 One of S's best friends is Greek and was participating in the annual Greek Festival downtown as a dancer!  We all went to see her and thought we were going to get to enjoy some delicious Baklava, but we waited until later afternoon to go and today was the last day of the festival so they were sold out!  Darn!  But, the dancing was a lot of fun to watch and there were actually several kids there that the kids knew from school!

Baldridge with Gigi and Grandpa

The kids and I were supposed to meet Gigi and Grandpa at Baldridge Campground for a weekend of camping, but I was just too exhausted to make it happen.  But, we were able to make a day trip of it! We ate lunch, took a walk, the kids swam and played games and we celebrated Grandpa's bday!  It wasn't exactly what we'd planned, but it was a fun day for sure!!

Pool Party at The Creek

Every year it is tradition for Woody Creek to have a joint pool party and games with Sugar Creek!  There is fun competition, food trucks, Icees and a general feeling of being ready to celebrate the end of school and the beginning of swim team season!

Mothers Day

We had a beautiful Mothers Day!  We went to church and then to the Drive baseball game for a relaxing afternoon together:)

Last Soccer Tournament

C had his last soccer tournament this weekend!  His team played SO GOOD!!  Gigi and Grandpa were able to come to one of his games!  The team ended up going 2-1 and not making the finals, but C was on fire and actually left his coach speechless!  A great way to end the season!
