I have gotten into the habit of decorating the house the week
of Thanksgiving while the boys are hunting so that when
we come back from Thanksgiving and the lake it is 
FESTIVE!

Weekend at the Lake

As has become our tradition, when we leave Atlanta after enjoying Thanksgiving, we head up to the lake for the rest of the weekend!  It was somewhat chilly, but we took the boat out a couple of times and forced the kids to take walks through the neighborhood with us!  Don't worry, there was plenty of being lazy as well!!  This has become one of my favorite ways to celebrate!

Thanksgiving 2023

We had Thanksgiving in Atlanta again this year!  The weather was so great for sitting outside and catching up with family - and eating, eating, eating!  Afterwards, we went to Robert and Jennifer's to check out their light show for 2023.  They do an absolutely fabulous job and we were glad to get to see it on opening night!!  It made for a late night getting back to Keowee, but it was so worth it to see everyone!

 

EHS Tennis Banquet

Tonight we celebrated the Eastside Lady Eagles Tennis Team!  The banquet was beautiful! The two seniors that are graduating will be greatly missed!  They have been great leaders for this team and will leave big shoes to fill next year!
