The ice caused us to have several roof leaks -
and we couldn't do much about it until it melted
off the roof which really took weeks!

Old people problems!

Ice Storm 2026

Well, we got a lot of ice this past weekend!!  Not as bad as they were thinking it was going to be and we still kept power, although the lake house did not, for which I am so thankful!  It was cold, and yuck!  S had spent the night with a friend so that she could be iced in with her and it took us three nights before we were able to get her back!  I didn't even go out it in!  It was not fun at all to me!  C went out for a bit, but the ice was very abrasive on his sled and cracked it!  All in all, I am okay with that being over for the most part now!

Wofford Basketball Game

While C was doing his driving and S was at work, M and I took the afternoon and went to the Wofford basketball game!  I love a good game and even better that Wofford pulled out the W!

Road Driving Session #1

C had his driver training in class session back in September.  Now, we begin his on the road driving sessions so that he can get his license next month!

Girls Weekend

Our mahjong group spent a glorious weekend at the lake!  There is no other way that I can think that would be better than playing MAHJONG at the LAKE!  Two of my most favorite things!  We ate, played, went out to a nice dinner and laughed all weekend!  My cup is full!

5v5 Season Ends

C has had 4 5v5 games over the last two weekends!  They did not win any of them... lol!  It's always good to try new things with different people.  I think he learned some things from this 5v5 season, so we will call that a win even if we didn't have a winning record!

SCS Soccer

SCS soccer conditioning has begun in full force.  Every day after school, C has soccer practice!  At least, though, we get our nights back since he is done at 5:15pm! Most likely, he will make varsity this year and things will be a little more structured and intense!  We are ready!  Let's go Sabres!

New Year, Same Lake

Before school and work started back, and our schedules resumed their craziness, we took a few days and went up to the lake.  It is so peaceful and quiet this time of year! All of the pictures apparently as I'm looking back are of C and myself.  M and S were there, but didn't do anything photo-worthy!
