Before Thanksgiving, while the boys are in Illinois, S and I have started to come up to the lake before heading to Atlanta. Then, after Thanksgiving, the four of us come back up to the lake for the rest of the weekend! I love this time of year up there!
This year, S and I went to check out Whitewater Falls and Bad Creek! It's just so pretty up there right now!
The day before Thanksgiving and this guy and his friend cross right in front of my car!
We went back to Bear Valley Farm this year for our tree! It's a great place to go, however, this year they were out of any trees bigger than 7'! This thrilled M because the smaller the tree, the cheaper the tree;) So, we ended up with not as tall of a tree as we really wanted, but the experience was fun!
We made it to Atlanta today to celebrate Thanksgiving! It has become a fun tradition, even if very different than New Bern, but it is always a good time to see cousins and family!
Never a dull moment with this one!

Right after the soccer tournament championship game, the boys had the truck already packed and headed out to Illinois for their annual hunting trip! No deer this year(they let a few go since they weren't bigger than the ones they shot last year!), but C did get some nice fish at the pond on the property!
S spent the weekend in Washington DC with the leadership team on DECA! They had competitions(that they didn't know they were signed up for until they arrived!), breakout sessions and networking opportunities! Of course, there was also plenty of time for fun and sightseeing! She had a great time and ended up placing with a perfect score and winning first in the Hospitality category! Being a part of DECA the past two years has been one of the best things that she has done in high school!
A very early morning at the airport! They ran into their principal who was flying out with his family to Hawaii for Thanksgiving break!
