March Randoms 2026

Apparently these are all the rage!

C was in heaven and we spent hours at the 
fishing expo

Third time's a charm - got her a
prom dress our third day out shopping!

Poor kiddo ended up with the flu and was
down for about 5 days and then took another
couple of weeks to really be 100%

I walked to CVS to pick up a prescription - 
it was a bit further than I had
anticipated

I told the boy to get his clothes out of the
dryer and put them away - he did not - 
so he found them here after school

SCS Soccer

This month has been a LOT of soccer!  C has really enjoyed this team and he even starts as a freshman!  He's grown so much as a player and I can't wait to see him play the second half of the season in April!

Phil Whickam Concert

The Mahj girls and I had a girls night out with dinner at STIR and the Phil Whickam concert!  Such a great night with the best company and amazing music!

Jon Pardi Concert

M and I dropped C off at a soccer game and made our way downtown for the Jon Pardi concert!  It was a great show - I just wish it had started a couple hours earlier!  It was some good music, though!

Another Band Competition

Because four days wasn't long enough for one band competition, C had yet another one this afternoon!  Good grief!  But, they scored superior ratings once again at the SC State Festival!  Go band!

SCS Fine Arts Trip (FAT)

SCS takes the band, orchestra and choir on a road trip each year to perform and have some fun!  This year the location was Disney!  I think they are on a three year rotation so C was excited it was this year since he is only doing high school band as a freshmen!  

They left sooo early on Thursday, spent time at Disney Springs Thursday night, performed and explored Magic Kingdom on Friday, all day Saturday was at Hollywood Studios and then Sunday drove home!

Whew!  It was a whirlwind of a trip but he had a blast! Icing on the cake was earning top scores and Best in Class at their performance!

S and Friends

S's friends from Beaufort that she met a Girls State last summer came to visit for the weekend!  They have such a sweet friendship and had so much fun just hanging out and being silly!
