Our lake days are becoming fewer and fewer now that school has started! This weekend two girls that will be attending Wofford in the fall that S met in the spring and really hit it off with came to visit for the weekend and spent the weekend at the lake with us! So fun to meet new friends!
S and I made it back into town just in time for C's last minute soccer scrimmage! They played better, I think, than they did during the CESA Friendlies last week, so progress is being made:)
S and I stayed with Grandpa and Gigi while we were visiting Baby! It was a quick, but good trip!

C has a desk in his room.
C likes to use that desk to pile crap and fishing stuff on.
He needs a place to "study" and I remembered we had a desk still in the box that I'd purchased for our old house back in 2015 that we never put together!
I pulled it out and M and I spent hours getting it put together! I've never seen so many pieces before!

We made a very last minute decision, probably 2 weeks ago, to move C to Eastside starting this year! He's ready, we are ready! Hoping and praying this year is a good one for him!

Because our lives are so busy in every direction, we took the chance to celebrate M's bday a couple of days early tonight!
C has been playing his first soccer games with his new team the past two days as his team participated in the CESA Friendlies! He has only ever played with 3 of the boys before and most of the kids are 2009 players. But, they had some good things they did and some not so good things that coach has some work to do with them over the season! And, if they can hold up in the heat of the past two days, they at least got grit!
S joined Bryce for his birthday celebration! I'm fairly confident their pickleball games hit ultra-competetive level! LOL!
I feel like it's been forever since we got a chance to go to the Red Horse Inn! I LOOVE this place!!
